Side Dishes

A scone is a small quickbread made of wheat, barley or oatmeal, usually with baking powder as a leavening agent. Our Potato Pogach is a savoury scone.

Spaetzle Dumplings:
They are home style pasta, a side dish like noodles or rice. They are often added to soups or crisped up with a bit of butter and served with sausage.

Steamed Dumplings
They are commonly served with saucy dishes – such as various goulashes or stuffed peppers. You cut the dumpling into small, bite-size pieces and use them to soak up the juice.
