We always take the time to let our organic beef bones simmer at least twenty four hours. This technique fully extracts all of the flavours and nutrients from the bones, while simultaneously creates a gelatin rich broth with low sodium. We are adding extra nutrients by simmering bones with root and other vegetables.
Beef Stock contains minerals that promote bone health. The magnesium in stock supports healthy bone formation during the developmental years and prevents osteoporosis when bone health declines in later years. Almost half of the fat in beef is a monounsaturated fat called oleic acid - the same heart-healthy fat that is found in poultry and olive oil. Also, most of the saturated fat in beef actually decreases our heart-disease risk - either by lowering LDL (bad) cholesterol, or by reducing our ratio of total cholesterol to HDL (good) cholesterol.
Beef Stock is used primarily for making beef bone broth soups, but can be consumed cold as well. This stock is easy to digest and drinking 1-2 cups a day is a gentle way to get important nutrients into the body. We recommend to drink Beef Stock even the followers of vegetarian or vegan diets, especially if they have a compromised digestive system. It is served frozen and chilled (ready to cook or drink).
